"Thank you for committing Joy on canvas ." Elaine Morrison" Her courageous colors and bold brush strokes mix with lovable subjects to create infinitely memorable pieces of fine art."
Bryce Prophetor, Flagstaff Live"......Townsend is able to create subjects that appear to pop from the canvas... She continues to stake
a place for herself as a professional oil painter with collectors throughout the US." Mountain Living Magazine
(And as of 2009, collectors in Australia, Canada, Japan, Russia, Sweden, Holland,............)
"Hi Connie,I heard about you from a someone in Texas and can see why they were so excited about your work. My husband and I always
smile when we look at your paintings on your website. Thank you for being an inspiration to many and being able to show the
true spirit of beloved pets. It’s not often an artist comes along who can express emotion and feelings the way you do. Great job
and keep up the good work! We’re telling everyone about you.Sincerely impressed,Vicki KauffmanCreswell, ORP.S. We have your book and love it, too!""Now, given that Connie's work is a true fine art painting expect it to be an investment. But I can
tell you from experience, the feeling you will get when seeing your own dog in one of Connie's paintings
is unlike any other I have ever had. I was honestly moved to tears." Cowbelly Pet Photography, Jamie Pflughoeft, Seattle,WA
read more on her cowbellyblog - click" I am glad that that there are people like you and the pictures you paint, otherwise this world will be unbearable."
Maria Balicka"I lust for Townsend's big ass trucks." - Mike Frick - Flag Live Arts & Entertainment Weekly
"We bought two paintings from Connie...her style is fresh and bold. We also like the local flavor
and historical feel to her work." Jim Babbitt"Her paintings have a quirky humor that reflects how a lot of us dog owners see our dogs ....
Connie is able to capture that essential whimsey. I own four." Winnie Ennenga“Connie is a really gifted painter,” says Chris Morgan of Christopher Morgan Galleries in California.
“The paintings are not just funny or charming. If you took away the expressive animals and removed the old cars
and trucks, you would be left with nothing but a gorgeous landscape. If the measure of an artist is ability to communicate,
on a scale of 1 to 10, Connie is an 11.""Her attention to detail is definitely overshadowed by the boldness of her brush." Dr Lew Deitch, Artbook of the New West
"The painting you did of Rocco truly made me cry. The heart and soul you put into it gave it everything.
He obviously only has one eye, but that one eye can tell a thousand stories and emotions, and you got it girl!!!
I had originally received an email version and as I mentioned I cried, then I got to gallery and saw it in person!!!"
